Here at the Alliance College of Australia we believe that successful ministry training requires a holistic approach that incorporates both knowledge and application. That is, we not only equip you with a sound biblical and theological knowledge base for ministry but also support and encourage you to apply that knowledge – from day one – right within your local church community.
We do this because we believe that the Australian Christian church needs leaders who are trained from the get-go to apply biblical principles to everyday situations, no-matter where they are and no matter what they confront. Such is the physical, spiritual and emotional need of the broader community around Australia and throughout the world that disciples of Jesus must be ready at every moment to be Jesus in that moment. This is why our training programs are not designed to produce a particular type of leader, but rather to rejoice with you as you become the person that God has gifted you to be.
Assessments in the vocational stream are competency based so you are evaluated on your ability to put what you have learnt into practice rather than on your ability to describe what you know on paper. Each subject’s assessments are carefully constructed to provide the best possible forum for you to grasp the key elements of the material.
In partnership with ACOM, the Alliance College of Australia is also able to offer a pathway into the higher education stream. Subjects taken as part of the Bachelor of Theology and Master of Arts programs are assessed according to the standard higher education requirements.
